The Humane Society of Charlotte has taken in more than a dozen dogs after a puppy mill was busted in Randolph County.

The animals were brought to the Humane Society on Wednesday, in an effort led by the Randolph County Animal Control resulted in 21 mill dogs being surrendered.

17 of the dogs came to Charlotte, but there are an additional 20 dogs still left on the property.

The dogs rescued by the Humane Society of Charlotte are Brussels Griffons, Pomeranians, West Highland Terriers, Shih-Tzus and Scottish Terriers.

I read about the scottie terrier resuced by the Humane Society in Charlotte. I am interested in where was he taken, and if he/she has been adopted. Is there anyway that I’d be able to locate him and find out more about him and his needs? I don’t know where else to try and get these answers. Can you help?

    Hi Jackki,
i’ve been doing a little research to find out what happened to the Scottie for you. I’m unable to locate any more info on the web and suggest you try calling them directly if you are local.
The only thing else I can suggest is what I found in my google search. http://scottishterrier.rescueme.org/NorthCarolina

Good luck and Please let us know if you find out how the pup is doing.
